چکیده

Abstract At present, materials obtained from nature are adopted with high priority due to exploitation of natural resources ofthe materials. This work is focused on the use fibre nano-silica as reinforcement in epoxy resin a matrix. The polymer composites were developed by mixing an appropriate amount nano SiO 2 bamboo fibres. After composite fabrication, specimens standard size prepared, and tests related mechanical properties performed. 32H compositesperformed best tensile test. flexural test value for 32G was highest. We found that had better energy absorption capacity. Response surface methodology (RSM) used find optimum composition composites, effects nano-SiO their investigated. A central design employed analyse properties. second order polynomial model predicting strength composites. It has been fit quadratic regression excessive co-efficient determine R value. Effects examined using analysis variance (ANOVA).Experiment two-layer wt.% silica quality. Nano fabricated reinforced numerous uses automotive, aircraft, aerospace, sporting, structural, home appliance industries.

Synthesis of nano-structured sphene and mechanical properties optimization of its scaffold via response surface methodology

Nano-structured sphene (CaTiSiO5) powder was synthesized via mechanical activation and heat treatment method. The synthesized powder was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and simultaneous thermal analysis (STA). The sphene scaffolds were then fabricated via porogen method (using citric acid). Response surface methodology was successfully used to d...

Creep Behavior of Basalt and Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy Composites

The creep behavior of basalt fiber reinforced epoxy (BFRE) and glass fiber reinforced epoxy (GFRE) composites was studied through tensile testing at high temperature. To study the effect of reinforcing epoxy, the micro glass powder (MGP) was added at various volume percentage into the epoxy resin in BFRE composites. The initial strain for all the specimens were evaluated and compared with each ...

Enhancement of mechanical and electrical properties of continuous-fiber-reinforced epoxy composites with stacked graphene

Impregnation of expandable graphite (EG) after thermal treatment with an epoxy resin containing surface-active agents (SAAs) enhanced the intercalation of epoxy monomer between EG layers and led to further exfoliation of the graphite, resulting in stacks of few graphene layers, so-called "stacked" graphene (SG). This process enabled electrical conductivity of cured epoxy/SG composites at lower ...
